In-Home Daycare, Terry Adrian

Question: We are looking for recommendations for an in home or facility daycare in Broomfield. We won't actually need it until next fall, but we are trying to get ideas of what is available and approximate pricing so we can be more prepared. We'd have a 3 year old and an infant. Since it is so far out, we know that availability cannot be determined, but if you have any suggestions of places to consider, we'd greatly appreciate it!

Response: We have used an in home daycare provider for our two children for 6 years total. She takes children newborn to 3 years, but has recently taken on 3 years+. Our 3 year old is currently with her and we highly recommend her. There is no one I can imagine to take better care of my kids while at work, and she's reasonable too! Terry Adrian 303-466-1457. Two spots currently open I think.   12/09

Miramonte Kindercare, Broomfield

Question: A friend of mine is looking into the KinderCare on 287 & Miramonte/10th in the shopping center. She would like to send her children there but does not know anyone that has attended. Does anyone have any feedback about this facility? Positive or negative is appreciated. Feel free to email me personally. Thank you for your help.

Response: When I was looking into daycare for my kids, I looked at Miramonte Kindercare.  To me, it seemed like the classes were really wild and chaotic and the staff seemed like they didn’t really know how to keep things under control.  This was a  while ago, so it may be better now.  I decided that I wanted to go somewhere with smaller classes and more structure.   2/10

In Home Daycare, Linda Jacobs

Question: Looking for a grandmother who wants to hold a sweet little 3-month old baby boy while his mom and dad work! Just looking for someone to love our baby the way we would. Would love to hear from from you or if anyone has any good suggestions for a trustworthy home daycare, we are open to that as well! Hope to hear from you!!

Response: The following recommendation was posted on my workplace forum. I had spoken with this woman when I was looking at an in-home option as well but ended up being able to stay home with my son. It may be worth a call though!

"My day care provider has some openings. She is AWESOME and is licensed. She has over 33 years of experience. She lives near Shadow Ridge (120th and Holly). Her hours are 6:30 - 5:30. She is great and I love taking my son to her. My son has been in her care since he was 12 weeks old and he is now on his way to 3 years. He loves her and so do I. I would describe her as a grandma type who just loves my boy when he is in her care. Feel free to call her 303-252-0133, her name is Linda Jacobs."   4/10
