Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinics

Date: Saturdays

Place: Lowe’s Stores

Time: 10am

Cost: Free!

Each Saturday at 10am the Lowe’s staff puts together a project for kids to build themselves (with a little parental help).  When my kids went they made   out of wood using mirrors and a decorated spinning plate.  They loved using the tools to build it and really loved the finished product!  The first time that you attend the workshop your child(ren) will receive an apron and goggles which you’ll need to bring along for subsequent workshops.  They also get a badge (similar to a boy scouts badge) for each project that they complete.  These projects are recommended for kids in grades 1 - 6, so if you bring younger kids (like mine) just be prepared to be more involved yourself.

If you’d like to attend one of the workshops, you’ll need to register online and fill out/print a form to bring on the day of the clinic.  Click here to visit the site, see the projects and register your child.  As you are signing up you’ll be able to choose the store that you’d like to go to.    4/10
