Foolish Craig’s, Boulder

Question: We have family coming into town next week and would really like to take them somewhere nice, but also kid friendly.  We don’t really know any good places in the area- help!

Response: We recently had family in town, too, and took them to “Foolish Craig’s” in Boulder.  We actually took them twice it was so good!!  The food was amazing, prices were reasonable and they were surprisingly kid friendly (crayons at the table, bringing fries early, etc.).  I highly recommend it!  Their website is: http://foolishcraigs.com/        10/09

Jus’ Burritos, Broomfield

Question: Is “Jus’ Burritos” in Broomfield any good?

Response: I went to the one on 120th the other day for a breakfast burrito and it was really good!  I especially recommend the chorizo burrito with red chili, if you like a little kick.  I’m sure their other burritos are just as good.     10/09

Marco’s Coal Fired Pizza, Denver

Question:  Hi, anyone have any good recommendation for a nice dinner on Christmas eve in Denver, family friendly?  Thanks

Response: I’m not sure exactly what you’re looking for, but we really love Marco’s Coal Fired Pizza on Larimer St.  They have crayons, etc. for the kids and, even though they don’t have a kids menu, there is plenty available there that our kids like.  What’s not to love about pizza right?  It’s a little pricey, but really, really good!  You can see more on their website www.marcoscoalfiredpizza.com     11/09

Nissi’s, Lafayette

Question:  We’ve heard that there are a few good restaurants with live entertainment around here, but we don’t know what or where they are.  Have any of you heard of these?

Response: We recently went to “Nissi’s” in Lafayette for a work party and it was FANTASTIC.  The food was delicious (tapas style) and the music was wonderful (FACE was performing that night).  I would highly recommend trying it out!      1/10

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Westminster

Question:  Our family loves to go out for ice cream, but we haven’t been able to find a place that is social (ie: where you can take a group of friends, sit, chat, etc.).  Are there any local places that you know of  like this? Hopefully with good ice cream?

Response: Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory at the Orchard is a favorite at our house (after Sushi of course!) The kids can have a small cone and then play on the playground to burn off the sugar high!    11/09
