E. B. Rains, Jr. Memorial Park, Northglenn

Question: Our kids are finally old enough to do some water sports. Do any of you know of a good place around here to rent a boat, paddle boat, go waterskiing, fishing, etc.?
Response: E. B. Rains Park in Northglenn has paddle boats - they’re really fun! I’m not sure what time they’re open or what the rules of use are, but you can rent them all summer long. 6/10
Indoor and Outdoor Ideas

Question: Does anyone have any suggestions for good activities for a 3 year old (with a newborn tagging along) for the summer time? Fun, inexpensive things to do, playgroups, etc. I don't want to spend the summer just sitting at home!
Response: 3 year old activities:
*Paul Derda's indoor playground is free for kids 5 and under.
*The Broomfield library has storytimes and auditorium shows.
*Check out Anythink library at 94th and Huron.
*There are a ton of great parks if you go early before it gets too hot. Waneka Lake Park in Lafayette is well shaded.
*Chippers Lanes offers one game with shoe rental for $2
*Skate City offers age 2-6 lessons and shoe rental for $4.50
*There water features at the Westminster Promenade, Orchard's on Huron, and in a park by the city offices in Northglenn. 6/10
Response: There's one of those sidewalk-fountain-things popular at water parks available for free near the walking bridge between the Ice Center and the Promenade (AMC 24 & Dave & Busters) in Westminster. 6/10
