Winterfest

Date: Wednesday, Nov. 23
Place: Orchard Town Center
Time: 6:30pm-8:30pm
Cost: Free!
Come join The Orchard Town center in celebrating the kickoff to the holidays at WinterFest Wednesday, November 23, 6:30-8:30pm. Festivities will take place on Town Square and include “School’s Out Holiday Break,” holiday performance inspired by Glee, ice-skating, giveaways, visits with Santa- bring your camera to capture the special moments, and more!
For those of you who haven't yet visited the Orchard, they also have a trackless train with rides available for a small fee.
Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony

Date: Friday, Dec. 2nd
Place: Broomfield City Center
Time: 6 pm
Cost: Free!
Be part of this annual community event when all of Broomfield welcomes the arrival of Santa Claus at the Broomfield Municipal Center. The air is filled with children caroling from the local schools; the Community Park trees are spectacular; the Mayor lights the Community Holiday Tree; families can ride the holiday wagon ride; and children are able to talk to Santa. Bundle up and share in the Holiday Cheer!
10th Annual Breakfast With Santa

Date: Saturday, Dec. 3
Place: Broomfield Community Center, Lakeshore Room
Time: 8am-12pm
Cost: Free!
The annual Breakfast with Santa is sponsored by the Broomfield Lions Club. Bring your whole family, get your picture taken and tell Santa your wishes for Christmas. Drinks, fruit and pastries will be served. Donations accepted.
Holiday Horses

Date: Saturday, Dec. 3
Place: Avery Ranch 11026 Maple Rd, Lafayette, CO
Time: 12pm-3pm
Cost: Free!
Free Fun for the Family! Sat, Dec 3 from Noon-3:00 come see costumed teams of horses and riders perform to Christmas music. Christmas shopping in a tent! Chili Cookoff and goodies. All proceeds to to 9Cares/Colorado Shares.

Denver Christkindl Market

This year the Denver Christkindl Market returned to Downtown Denver at Sky Line Park on Arapahoe and 16th, south of the Daniels Fischer Clock Tower. They have vendors from Germany and other European countries as well as local artisans. Traditional German food, pastries, and candy as well as authentic German beer and Glühwein are featured. It runs from Nov. 26th until Dec. 23rd (11am-7pm Sunday to Wednesday and 11am-9pm Thursday to Saturday). Check out their site for more info: www.denverchristkindlmarket.com. Thornton Winterfest

Imagine stepping into a child-sized Santa’s Village right here in Thornton, CO. That’s exactly what you will experience at Thornton’s WinterFest! Listen to the choirs, take a skate around the pond, visit Santa in his very own house and watch actual elves at work!
Zoo and Botanic Gardens Lights

The lights are up at the Zoo and the Botanic Gardens in Denver. The Zoo lights start on Dec. 10th and both of them run until January 2nd. Check here for the gardens and here for the zoo!
